Accomidations in Brookings

We wanted to provide everybody with information about options for places to stay in Brookings. On the right hand side of the page, you will find links to all the hotels, vacation rentals, campgrounds, etc that are available (and worthy of staying in :) in Brookings. Feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions about anything.

I'll give the rundown on what I know about all these places:
The Best western Beachfront Inn is right on the beach and probably one of the nicer hotels in the area. The others on the list seem nice as well.

If you're up for a more "unique" Brookings experience, the 3 vacation homes on the list all look pretty nice. These would be good options for families, as they will accommodate up to 6 people per house.

The Winchuck River Beach House is on the river, just a few minutes from the beach and it will sleep up to 4 people.

Toby's Crab Shack looks like it is right on the beach and sleeps up to 6.

The Chetco River View Chalet is located right above the Chetco River (which is beautiful!) It's a few miles from town and the beach and looks like a more peaceful location. It has 2 bedrooms, so it could probably sleep up to 4 people.

If anyone is into camping, Harris Beach State Park is a really nice and really pretty campground.
My Brother and sister have spent a lot of time camping in and around the Brookings area. They both highly recommend Harris Beach campground as well as Loeb State Park. Loeb Park is a pretty amazing place in the Myrtlewood forest, right by the Chetco River. They also have cabins and Yurts available, in addition to camp sites.

If you want something a little more "upscale" Whaleshead Beach Resort looks really nice. They have cottages available to rent that sleep 2-6 with creekside and oceanside views. This resort is probably 15-20 minutes away from the house/beach where the wedding will be.

  1. Hey Bethy! I got your invite today, it's so cute! I'm so happy you guys are doing the Oregon thing (and publicly, too). I thought maybe you should put Loeb campground on the campground link on your page. It's not too far for people to go if they have a car. I think we're definitely going to try and make it up there. Love you guys!
